Bio

Stephanie was absorbed by figure drawing as a teenager and considered attending art school, but instead moved to Montreal to study linguistics. However, her passion for art was renewed and broadened when she signed up for a ceramics class at a community arts center. Hooked on clay, she continued to study with working ceramic artists throughout college and after graduation. She kept drawing during this time as well, and after many years of working in the two media separately, she started to bring her figurative drawing experience to her clay work. 

Stephanie now lives and works in the Austin Texas area.
